Hospital Cites Individuals,%Units for GiftsJones Memorial Hospitaltoday issued a public statement of appreciation for the many gifts of money for memorials and for “generous donations of other comforts for patients,” received during the past year.A special note of thanks was directed to the hospital auxiliary for turning over proceeds from the annual Country Fair, and to the public for their support of the fund raiser, helping to purchase needed hospital equipment.Also cited were Girl Scout Troops 156, 153, and 152, the Mulberry Twig and 4-H girls for tray favors and holiday greetings for patients; St. Anne’s Guild for pamphlets for patients’ trays; the Legion ofMary for a subscription toCatholic Digest”; and the Welisville Rotary Club for its donation of $200.In addition, the hospital thanked Mrs. Jean Lunden for the flag given in memory of her father, Walter Carl Lunden;Green and Kellogg of Buffalo for the donation of a baby, warmer; the memorial gift of money given by Mr. and Mrs.1-Charles Lerch in memory of Mrs. Alfred Major; and the memorial gift of money from Mr. and Mrs. Charles Murone of Dubois, Pa. in memory of Mrs. A. Orba.The hospital also cited Donald Strach of Don’s Music Studio for the benefit organ recital last October.
