IIIPeace River Black Hearts Trim The Fairview JuniorsThe Peace River Juniors (Black Hearts) boarded the rattle Friday morning for Fairview, where they took the Pairviewites into camp to the tune of 5 to 4.The game started out with Fairview having it over the Black Hearts like a tent and they scoredthree times in so many minutes, Hops getting two and Hemstock one. Hemstock’s goal was a beautiful individual rush, his part-1 ing shot giving Cummings no chance. The first period ended with the score 3-0 in favor of Fairview.The Black Hearts started out ;n the second pei iod to show the rairuiew boys some real hockey. Brown in a solo rush going through the Fail view defence and beating McDonald with a hard drive. Shortly after, Gauvreau, assisted by Magrum slipped in a couple more, the bell sounding with thescore of 3-3.In the third frame the Black Hearts showed their superiority. Martineau broke thru time aftertime but McLonalu had his eagle eye woiking overtime and smothered everv rush. For Peace River ; Gauvreau, Brown, Magrum and1 Martineau showed up well. How-1 ever, taking the game on a whole every player on each side played a real brand of hockey.
