Neighbors and friends had a pleasant surprise party on Mr. and Mrs Jasper Mein last Friday evening, the occasion of their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. Many beautifu! gifts were given them; gifts that will serve a long time remembrance of the happy anniversary. Their sons am! daughters, namely, Jake, Jasper, Albert, Hilko, Gezina, Ella, Grace, Gertrude, Tillie, Annie, Hilda, also gave them nice gifts. After supper the balance of the evening was spont in playing games and music. All report having had a good time and before departing wished Mr. and Mrs. Mein many more years of happiness and good luck.
