Caroline O’Brien.Honor Dr. and Mrs. DurrettA surprise miscellaneous shower was tendered Thursday night lor Dr. and Mrs. Clay E. Durrett, Kent avenue. Mrs. Durretfc was Miss Blanche Hose. After the shower, contests and games' featured. Brizes were awarded to Mrs. Dema Baldwin in the “Wedding Bell contest; C. G. Watson in the “Double Alphabet Poetry contest, and Dr. Dur-rett in the February contest. After a “backward” Spelling Bee, won by Capt. J. C. Baldwin's side, a threetiered wedding cake was cut by the bride and groom and'refreshmentswere served.Those attending were Rev. and Mrs. S. R. Neel, Mr .and Mrs. Joseph Watkins; Mr. and Mrs. C-Glenn Watson; Mr. and Mrs. Paul E. Nixon; Mr. and Mrs. John C. Baldwin; Mr. and Mrs. George O. Durrett; Mr. and Mrs. Edgar H.
