Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Snell, who celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Wednesday, were given a pleasant surprise when a number of their friends came in to spend the evening, extend congratulations and best wishes. Mr. and Mrs* Snell were each presented with a gift, as expressions of the high esteem in which they are held by their neighbors. The out-of-town guests were Mrs. Jennie May Potter and son of Indianola, Iowa; W. H. Snell of Ameret, Missouri. Radio music was an entertain- I ing feature and refreshments were! enjoyed. .
