Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Glenn Celebrate Their Fiftieth Wedding AnniversaryOn Tuesday, February 5th, Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Gienn celebrated their golden wedding anniversary, and the occasion was a very happy one, with all of their children, except one, pres-ent. IThe home was beautifully decorated with greens and yellow jonquils, and at one o'clock an elaborate turkey dinner was served at which the following | were present: 0. F. and H. M. Glenn, of Lufkin; Lee J. Glenn of San Antonio and hia friend. Grant Cowles of Rice Institute; Mrs. C. M. Barry of Eldridge; Mrs. E. J. Tate of Sealy; Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Hellmuth Jr.,• and Leslie Glenn, of Bellville; Win. Umland of Carmine, a brother of Mrs. Glenn; Mrs. Tom Doyle of Sealy; Mrs. Lisette Glenn and Miss Violet Glenn ofBeliville; Miss Emma Collins of| Orange.Coffee and cake was served during the afternoon, and numerous old friends called to offer congratulations. An interesting circumstance of the event was that among those at the dinner, or coming in later, were seven persons who had been guests at the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn, fifty years ago.
