Dugger Couple Marks Golden AnniversaryIMr. and Mrs. Dode Figg of Dugger celebrated the occasion of their golden wedding anniversary Sunday at a dinner given in their honor by Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Chastain of Dugger and Mr. and Mrs. Lon Ashburn of Terre Haute. The dinner was served at the Parkview Inn at Dugger at 4:00 oclock Sunday afternoon.The dinner table was covered with a white cloth, centered with a gold band. Bowls of yellow tulips and chrysanthemums were used as table decorations and tall yellow tapers in crystal (holders flanked a three tier wedding cake. A circle of gold with the figure 50 decorated the cake.'Pictures were , taken at the table and then the group went to the Figg home where a number of gifts awaited the honoredcouple.'Mrs. Figg was the former Miss Stella Robertson, daughter of Mr. and (Mrs. Stanton Robertson and Mr. Figg was the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Figg. Mr. and Mrs. Figg had two children, C?etus Figs who was killed in service during World War II, and Mrs. Pansy Chastain of Dugger.Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Figg, the guests of honor, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Olgus, Mrs. Beulah Ashburn and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Robertson of Terre Haute, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Hals-apple, Mr. and Mrs. Llcyd Sligar and children, Danry, Luke and Cindy, Mrs. Thelma Robertson, Mrs. Eva Robertson, Miss Nadine .Robertson and Mrs. Zulla Cooksey of Sullivan, Elliott Bedwell and son, David, Henry Olgus, Mr. and Mrs, Raymen Plummer and Mr. and Mrs, Harlan Chastain.
