After coming to Brook-1 Ag field Mr Snell was employed in the Eil local freight house for a period offour and one-half years, and for a like period as the crossing flagman at the Main street crossing. He was Ch honored by the Burlington when he j Be retired in 1926 after nine years of service and was given an annual pass good over the entire Burlington system, this because of his faithful service and the further fact that he was not eligible to be pensioned because of the short period of service.Mr. and Mrs. Snell have reared a family of four boys and one girl. Mr.1 Snell was 87 years old on August 5 1of last year, and Mrs. Snell cele- wi brated her eighty-«econd birthday onlse January 16 of this year. They are both in unusually good health considering their ages, well informed on current subjects as well as having a most clear and comprehensive knowledge * of events in years gone by. They are devout church members and Boost hap- j ite py in the company of one another ■ fe] after 62 years of married life.
