Talented seniors leave spotlightby Julie WestergardHalf lime at the East basketball game will serve as the recognition night for seven senior girls leaving the Le Mars Sparkettes drill team and eight senior musicians leaving the Xoteables.The seven girls leaving the drill team are Mary Ann Kruse, leader; Cheryl Rickabaugh, assistant leader; Dariis Berken-pas; Barb Kock; Carol Weber; Lee Wendt; and Mari Woodke.Randy Berg, David Dirks, Darrell Larson, Cliff McMur-ray, Roger Thoma, Richard Ziettlow, Paul Wilms, and Rowe Winceoff will be playing their last songs for the Noteables.The routine and the music the drill team and dance band have chosen for their last home game is three songs of the Beatles.The Sparkettes have performed at four basketball games this season and will be making their final appearance at the East game. This will be the last time for seven of the girls and special recognition will be given to them.
