Future plans call for the replacement of the curb clock which has been a definite landmark in the community for more than forty years. Plans for the second floor are being studied by the Board of Directors for expansion as the Trust Company continues to grow.Even though the bank has occupied the same location for over sixty years, the building was not purchased by them until 1910. Before the turn of the century the building was known as “Wilcox Hall Building” and the third floor was used as a theater In the late 18O0‘s it is understood that this theiter was one of the show places in this area as is evidenced by the artistic decorations still visible upon the walls.Over the years the Trust Company has made a number of alterations to both the inside and outside of the banking quarters in order to have adequate facilities to aecomodate the steady growth of the institution. Now again it is I necessary to make changes and | plans for the future.
