tDevelopment Of 1,000 Acre Lake IsSuf4ested At Tekonsha Lions MeetingAppearing before a Tekonsha Lions club dinner meeting Monday evening, Talbert Abrams, head of Abrams Aerial Survey Corp., Lansing, outlined suggestions for a proposed lake development project for the Tekonsha area.He told Lions and their wives and* A A *TALBERT ABRAMSr#Rainmaker CastB usy Rehea rsi nqother guests that he is of the opinion that it would be possible to put a dam just to the ^ast of the bridge south of Tekonsha, and with not too much effort, develop a lake which could be 1,000 to 1,200 acresIin size.•A lake which could be created, according to Abrams, would be twice as large as Goguac Lake. It could have about 10 miles of shoreline and could result in lake front homes and a recreational area.Special guests at the meeting included Hathaway Hanes and Paul Owens of the Michigan Conservation Department and Dave Sherman , John Mortzfeldt and Donald Lee of the Calhoun County Conservation Association.
