Larson, 638 W. 69th *t., and John Merlz, 8111 Stewart ave.Troop 645 of the St. Christina parish, 110th st. and Homan ave., will observe Scout week at a party for parents tomorrow when a display of Scout handicraft will be shown. The Scouts will demon •trate some of the phases of ecouting. Tomorrow through Feb-hIIJ:1ruary 14 displays of Scoutcraft fey members of the troop will be placed in the windows of the Mt. Greenwood Cleaners, 3252 W. 111th st., and in Henry Bil’s barbershop, 3120 W. 111th st. Among the 28 pieces of craft on display ere a homemade first aid kit and a homemade fireplace.At a meeting of the Boy Scoutcommissioners of the Southwestdistrict Monday night in the homeof F. W. Gareiss, 9346 Elizabethst., plaques were awarded to the two outstanding community commissioners of the district for 1945.The first plaque, presented by Judge Eugene Holland, was awarded to Clarence Novak, 7721 Lowe ave., for being chosen as the outstanding community commissioner of the Southwest district. The other plaque was presented by District Attorney J. Albert Woll to J. C. Grindey, 9236 Racine ave., chosen as the oustanding deputy commissioner of Cub scouting in the district.Certificates of appreciation were awarded to 11 community commissioners who had done outstanding service to their communities.The commissioners receiving the awards are Ernest Wahlton, 7937 Justine st., Oscar Swanson, 5640 Lowe ave., Ted Kaye, 2652 W. 58th st., Edgar Tunelius, 6104 Karlov ave., James Ellis, 6145 Justine st„ Edwin C. Podewell, 6239 Ashland ave., Anthony Strauss, 6222 Artesian ave., Lew Wisniewski, 5130 Loomis St., Montrose C.
