Snell, 219 South Monroe £street, observed their fiftieth wed- jding anniversary today, having be-I j gun their young married life in the state of Illinois, February 6, 1879. j ei -After a number of years they re- j moved to the state of Iowa, where j they lived until 1904, at which time thev came to Linn countv. Missouri.and located on a farm in the Prairie i nMound community. Seventeen years d ago they left the farm and came toruBrookfield, where they have since. 0resided.Their five children, consisting of L four boys and one girl, could not all j b be present today; some living at too p great a distance; others on account j p of ill health and road conditions. The fi children are George Snell, Oseola, i c Iowa; Mrs. Jennie May Potter, In-dianola, Iowa; W. H. Snell, Amear- J et. Missouri; Chas. H. Snell, of Le-; bbanon, Missouri, and Frank A. Enell, t Hermington, Oregon. W. H. Snell, j tlMrs. Potter and her sofcH, Frank, were 1lt; the only children present. The invit- f ed guests were; Robert Graham, Mr. f and Mrs. Geo. Bemrose, Mr. and Mrs. »T. L. Humphfres, Rev. and Mrs. J. j Ci D, Mendenhall.Mr. and Mrs. Snell have, through *their life, been industrious and pros- h perous farmers until the time they n came to Brookfield.
