Janettes, opera house to night.Their Golden Wedding.Captain F C Taylor Las returnedfrom De Witte, Iowa, where heweut to attend the golden weddinganniversary of his parents, Mr and Mrs T G Taylor, which occurreo Feb 1st. The celebration was held ut the home of Mrs Ida Scott Taylor McKinney and hundreds of people of the town called to pay their respects. Congratulatory letters were received from 23 different towns and ten states and a number of handsome presents were sent. 'Squire Taylor was born in Kentucky, graduated from Centre college at Danville in 1846 and two years later from Transylvania law school in Louisville. Later he settled in Springfield and practiced law with Judge Robbins and subsequently lived in Chicago and here. The 'squire was well ac quainted with Lincoln and is now a warm friend of Senator Cullom, There are three children in the family—Captain Taylor, Mrs McKinney and Mrs Lou T Nolau.
