IT. pot off to a fa^t start and made three baskets In the first quarter while Montrose made one. The game continued fast and furious to the half, with the score 13-7. in favor of Central.In the third quarter Montrose begad to score and made two pointsand holding Central also to two points Montrose changed their lineup around the last quarter and gained 8 points while Central made onefree throw.C. C. H. missed five out of six free throw shots in the last quarter andmany field shots on which theyshould have scored. The Central defence was effective until the last quarter when Montrose began breaking through and making many shots. It was Impossible for the Central team to play their best because of the disadvantage of the small floor.They completely outplayed theMontrose team hut could not make their shots or keep the dofense as tight as possible on account of thefloor which caused them all the grief.
