Dunham’s WedFifty-Two YearsMr. and Mrs. Walter A. Dunham of Winnsboro, route 4. celc-j brated :eir 52nd wedding anni-versary recently. They were married at Rayville in 1900. The union I was blessed with four children.| They are Mrs. Florence Flow’ers, j Chapman Dunham and Jessie Dunham of Winnsboro and Robert ; Dunham of Hill Ridge. They have 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.j Mr. and Mrs. Dunham are alert and active for their age. Mrs. Dunham was the former Annie It. Scott. She was born December 8, 1875. Mr. Dunham was born December 23, 1874, in Winnsboro.He can recall when the late E. D. Walter put in his first store in | Winnsboro and sold cotton print at five cents a yard. He also I remembers the first car and the first railroad through Winnsboro.| In his boyhood days his father, the late A. W. Dunham would get go to New Orleans, once a year, to buy the year’s supply of groceries. Mr. Dunham very well remembers the day when he wasfirst allowed to go on 'his Irip with his father.
