Bride And Groom Return Home After HoneymoonMr. and Mrs. Glen Laverne Green have returned to their home here after a Florida wedding trip. Mrs. Green will spend a short time with her parents near Ochlochnee untilhis V. S. Army Rase, Fortshe can join her husband at Brajjp. North Carolina.Mrs Green is the former Miss Mary Lee Hickey. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Wilson Hickey of Ochlochnee. She was married toMr. Green, the son of Mr. and Mrs Charles E Green of Thom-asville. on December 26 at Little Ochlochnee Baptist ChurchThe Rev. Eucene Brock officiated at the nuptial serviceand Mrs Preston Collier played the traditional wedding music and accompanied Mrs. Wendell Banks in her solo selections.An arch wav stood In front of%the pulpit and an open Bible was used on the communion table. Pines and magnolia formed a background for seven-branched candelabra and two large baskets of white gladioli.Miss Rebecca Johnson served as the maid of honor and Dennis Hamm was Mr. Green's best man. Ushers were E. W. Hickey and Wayne Applewhite.Miss Johnson wore a ruby taffeta gown, matching accessories an da corsage of pink carnations. The flower girl. Vickie Sue Hickey, wore a gown similar to that of the maid's in ruby glow taffeta.FOR HER WEDDING, thebride chose a gown of satin and Chantilly lace, fashioned with a chapel train, scalloped neckline, long sleeves pointed over the wrist. Her tulle finger-tip veil was attached to a lace head-piece and she carried a Bible covered m lace and satin and topped with lilies-of-the-valley and purple orchids.Mrs Hickey wore a blue wool dress, black accessories and acorsage of white carnations. Mrs. Green chose a wood-violet dress, worn with black accessories and white carnations.The church recreation room was the setting for a reception which followed the ceremony. The bride's table was set with a white cut-work cloth, silver candle-holders and three-tiered weddingrake topped with a miniature bride and groom. Christmas decorations of silver and gold were used throughout the rooms.Assisting were Mrs. W. M. Norman. Miss Linda Hickey, Miss Kathy Hickey and Mrs. Jimmy MorecFor her Florida trip.
