Mr. And Mrs. William MusserObserve 50th Wedding EventwITH a day spent quietly, much as they have been accustomed to living for the last half century, Mr. and Mrs. William Mauser, 1.T25 Tbiid street observed their 50th wedding anniversary at their borne Tuesday it marked also the 50th year they have lived In the same house for as a voiun married couple in 1881 the then newlyweds took up their abode in tbeir present home. »Mr. Musser, for many years a prora-lt;*- ■ ■ ■ -----inent brickmaaon and contractor InPortsmouth, built the home on Itspresent side and following the marriage ceremony In which Miss Mary Ann Bratt became Mrs. William Musser, escorted his young bride to their future home, where they have lived ever since.Himself 81 years of age, Mr. Musser enjoys the best of health. Though near his 82 year, his birthday being Jan. 16. he remains active and continues his Interest in the sp.rt news of the day. The last World's series probably bad no more Interested follower than he. Though unable to be at the scene he followed the game through the columns of the Portsmouth Times and by the aid of the score board used yearly by The Ports, mouth Times to show’ the playing of the games.Just this last year Mr. Musser received a token from Aurora lodge of Masons in honor of his having been a member of that organization for 50 years.Miss Berry Has PartyHolly, mistletoe and a brilliantly lighted tree provided an attractive background for the Informal partygiven by Miss Helen Berry of Sixth street Monday evening, for the plea*, ure of members of the Lois Burk* bardt circle.
