Mr and Mrs. Frank Wahl, 10244 S. Oakley ave., celebrated theirsilver wedding anniversary December 17 by entertaining 275 relations in Square post home, 1400 W. 04th St. Both Mr. and Mrs. Wahl belong to Square post and its auxiliary, respectively. Mrs. Wahl is junior activities chairman.Mr. Wahl is an active builder and belongs to the South Side Builders club of which he is jiast president; Square lodge, A.F. and A.M., and also is a past patron of Square chapter. Order of the Eastern Star. His wife is a member of Rockrose chapter,- O. E. S. of Columbus, Mont. They are the parents of Frank Wahl Jr., who is employed by the Illinois Bell Telephone company; Robert, a student at Wilson Junior college and Beverly, who is in 7A at the Sutherland Elementary school.Their mother, the former Anne Miller, is a native of Brad-dock, N. D., and their father of Chicago. The couple was married in Mr. Wahl’s parents home, the late Mr. and Mrs. George Wahl, 7836 S. Bishop st. Both belong to Peace Memorial church.Mrs. Wahl's mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Woltermann of Temple City, Cal., was unable to attend the party.Those attending the wedding 25 years ago and also the anniversary party included Mr. Wahl’s brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William Wahl of Skokie; his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Utpadell of Wheeling, 111.; his brother, Charles and three children, Martha, Charles Jr. and Peggy of Momence, and Mrs. Wahl’s sister, Mrs. Robert Borders of Fort Wayne, Ind., and her daughter, Marilyn.
