/3irthday party I tk a differencewiTHE many guests who attended Rupert Guthrie's 60th birthday party at the Terra Nova Hotel on December 18, 1992, and expected cake-cutting, toasting and dining were in for a pleasant surprise.It was a birthday with a difference. Norma Brown-Bell (FAW1EFM) and Vivian Rochester piloted the swanky affair with Ivanhoe Ricketts, President of the Customs Brokers Association toasting theman of the moment, who is himself a customs broker.Attending the 'do* were Lloyd C. McQueen, President of the Custom Tourers of Jamaica, Senator Oswald Harding and Rov Barnasee.Natalie and Dionne Guthrie (daughters) did some classic work at the piano, while Brldgette Foreman and Barbara Thompson, gave some soothing renditions.The stellar performance however, came from the commanding baritone voice of sports presenter, Keith Brown, who belted out Frank Sinatra's •AAv Wav’ among others., Kingston, Monday, December 28, 1992
