ReceptionA surprise reception is planned for 2 p.m. today and continuing through the evening, to honor Mr. and Mrs. Orville Carver of Ohley as they celebrate their golden wedding anniversary. Married Dec. 31. 1925. they made their home at Cabin Creek for 45 years. The former Maude Gillespie, she was employed at the Decota Grill, and he is retired from Carbon Fuel Co. TheyHonoreesare parents of six children, who will be hosts for the open house. They are Mrs. Helen Jean Norton of Chelyan: James Carver of Ohley: Robert L. Carver, who is serving with the Air Force at Keesler AFB, Miss.: P'rank Carver of Columbia. S.C.; Mrs. Barbara Stanley of Gallagher: and Donald R. Carver of Quarrier. Fifteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren complete the family.
