William Sweets Celebrate Silver Wedding AnniversaryMr. and Mrs. Wm. Sweet were guests of honor at a dinner Sunday in their home, the occasion being their 25th wedding anniversary. Twenty-seven relatives jphared the dinner.The three-tier anniversary cake that centered the table was baked and decorated by Mrs. Jack Snyder. Dining room hostesses Were two nieces, Mrs. Art Sjo-bakken and Mrs. Cletus Meiers.Cake and ice cream were served in the afternoon with Mrs. Art Sjobakken cutting the cake.A suprise telephone call come from Mr. Sweet’s brother Ward Sweet of Oklahoma City, Okla. who could not be present.On Thursday evening they ■were honored at a card party at the home of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sweet with eighteen friends as guests. They received many nice silver gifts from those attending.Rose Niggeling and William | ^ Sweet were married Dec. 30, 1929 |I at St. Marys church in New ) e Hampton by the late Rev. B. H. ! I Forkenbrock. They have farmed in the New Hampton area since and now live on a farm a mile west and a mile south of New Hampton. They are parents of two sons Robert and David.
