miMr. and Mrs. Lewis McDowellMcDowells wed sixty yearsMr. and Mrs. Lewis McDowell, 222 W. Bacon Road, Hillsdale, will celebrate their sixtieth wedding anniversary quietly at their home on Tuesday, Dec. 28.They are retired farmers and have lived in the area all their married lives.They were married Dec. 28, 1916 in the Hillsdale First United Methodist Church by the Rev. Mr. Delmarter.Thev had two sons, Charles andMerton, both deceased three grandchildren £ grandchildren.They are active members of the Senior Citizens Club, and former members of the Bankers Grange, and they attend the Methodist Church.The McDowells noted their anniversary Monday by driving to Hudson to attend a Senior Citizens meeting.
