Tanke, who was serving in the United States Army, was discharged in 1952 and returned to the United States. He had to return to Korea in 1955, where Mrs. Tanke was residing until immigration processes were completed, and remarry liecause their marriage records were lost in the burning of Taegu city hall.Tanke is a machmest at Whirlpool Corp.TIS.
