Hocketts Observe Golden WeddingMr. and Mrs. M. S. Hockett celebrated their golden wedd.ng anniversary on Christmas day.A bounteous dinner, was served at noon of roast goose and its trimmings. Cakes were decorated m yellow and white tc carry out the color scheme.The table was decorated with yellow chrysanthemums, a present sent by two nieces from Colorado. Also the house was decorated with yellow and white to carry out the eclor scheme.They received some very nice presents of cards, flowers, blankets, and a -chair frc*n ihe;r children, friends andneighbors.They ail enjeyed the afternoon playing games, music and singing.Those present for this haony occa-sicn were: Mr. and Mrs. Ed Courtneyand George, from Agency, la., Mr. ana Mrs. Mark Hunter and Walter, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Wiggins, and Neville, Mr. and Mrs. S. Clawson, Ralph, Paul, and Lvelyn, Mr. and Mrs. John Septer, Lola, Carl, and Marvin, Mr. and Mrs.■ Nels P. Barr. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond, Hunter, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Wiggins,■ and Sara Kendall.[ All the children and grandchildren were present cxceot Mr. and Mrs. bred i Couitney and babv son of Ottumwa,- la., S-Sgt. and Mrs. Lee B Courtney of i Dothan, Alabama, and Sl-c Emery M» Ccurtney. somewhere in the south- Pacific.
