SOCIAL NEWSMr and Mrs William Shaw, formerly of ihtM city, hut who have been living in Atlantic City for a number of year*, ait* guests of Cheater friend*. They will go to Baltimore on Bundav for a visit, and upon their return will spend several days with their son aud his family in Philadelphia. Mr. Shaw w.is a popular clubman when In this city. On Christmas night he and his wife were forcibly reminded that they had been married for a period of 25\ears. They were the recipients of man\ gilts of silver. The affair tookplace at the home of Mr and Mrs.James Murk*. 1212 Parker street, and wa* attended by u number of friend* of Mr. and Mrs Shaw At a late hour,refreshments were served.Those present were: Mr. ami Mrs. William Shaw. lt;f Atlantic City.
