He received $5 and costs. Judgment was withheld in the cases of Chauncey Hamilton, charged with intoxication, and David Calloway, charged with carrying concealed weapons. Ed Sourwine, charged with vagrancy, was ordered out of the city. Solomon Rasco, alias Rosco Curley, charged with stealing a gold ring from his wife; Joseph Jones, colored, charged with assault and battery on his wife, and Hortense Jones, colored, charged with intoxication and trespassing, were found not guilty. The case of Allen Casey, colored, charged with intoxication, was dismissed.' Lon McWherter and Ivan Qualls, whose wives were arrested Saturday night, charged with shoplifting, were brought before Judge Newton and their oases were dismissed when they proved they were not connected with the alleged thefts.The cases of Frank Shaffer, charged with assault and battery, and Pat Carey, charged with intoxication, w % e continued until Jan. 7.
