BRANDYWLXE BRIDGE.Large Petttfon FUed Asking fur a Bridge at the Nail Furd—President JHessick, of the First National Bank, Interested in This Bridge—One of the Six Ordered Erected.Below we submit the petit’on filed by residents of Brandywine town-ship for a bridge at the Nail ford, in said township. This is one of the six bridges recently contracted for by the Board of Commissioners. If the citizen?, whose names appear on this petition don't want a bridge at the Nail ford why did they petition for it, and why did they file therewith a bond for the building of the approaches thereto? In bridge matters those in the neighborhood are supposed to know whether, or not, they want their taxes spent for bridges better than the residents in Shelbyviile. The Board acted upon this petition and contracted for a bridge to be erected next year.
