Former County Couple WillObserve Golden Anniversary'Mr. and Mrs. Guy Whitson. 2703 E. Cozy St., Springfield. Mo., formerly of the Bentley and Nauvoo areas, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary at a reception from 2 until 5 p.m. Sunday in the Campbell Avenue Methodist Church, 400 West Division St., Springfield. Mo.Mr. and Mrs. Whitson weremarried Jan. 20, 1920, in Quincy, by the Rev. L. C. Mauck. They farmed in Schuyler. Brown and Hancock Counties before retiring and moving to Springfield, Mo., two years ago where fourof their children live.They have 11 children, Robert of rural Dallas City, Lyle, Portland, Maine, Sarah Kipping, Quincy, John Whitson and Margaret ’ Marshall, Springfield, Mo„Zelma Peters, Garden City, Mich., Walter, rural Niota, William, Springfield, Mo., Nora Howell, Stronghurst, Ann Brandt, Springfield.
