It is a heap of packages, covered with bright bows.Christmas is aching feet and tired arms, as we fight our way through the last-minute shoppers while telling ourselves fr the umpteenth time we will never again wait this late.Christmas is a warm kitchen that smells like spices and fresh baked bread.Suddenly it is here — the last gift wrapped, the last bow tied, the little ones safely tucked in bedMom and Dad with a sigh of relief, and a cup of coffee sink down on the sofa, to admire their handiwork. Then they begin to meditate on what Christmas really is. The radio is softly playing “Silent Night.Christmas is a frightened young mother to be. knowing her time is near. It is a young man, trying to find words to comfort her.Christmas is a cold dirty stable. with only hay and a manger to make a bed “There was no room in the Inn Christmas, is a holy little child. God’s own Son.He came to live among us. He died for us, that He might give to us the greatest gift ever given, (Eternal Life).Christ died for us. Can we not live for Him?A most blessed Christmas to all.
