tne muiRetired in 1933Mr. Myers began as a miller aC i Hereter’s mill. Two years later he ' married and took over Butt's mill at; j McKnightstown which he operated for a number of years. From there he went to Table Rock where he operated a mill for 16 years. In 1900 he began operating the Arendtsville rolling mill, retiring in 1933.He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran church, Arendtsville; the Knights of Pythias, Arendtsville, and the Royal Arcanum of York.He was twice married. His first wife, the former Anna Mary Mick-ley, died in 1882 His second wife, Sadie Catherine Bluebaugh, died in 1917.Surviving from his first marriage are three children, Mrs. P. W. Stall-smith, Gettysburg R. D.; Lawrence E. Myers. Arendtsville, and Mrs. Allison, with whom he made his home. A son, Earl R. Myers. Arendtsville, survives from his second marriage. Four brothers. Penrose, Gettysburg; John W., York; Gettys, Alexandria, Virginia, and Harry, Harney, also survive. Included in the survivors are 13 grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren.Funeral on MondayFuneral services from the William H. Allison home, Arendtsville, Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock conducted by the Rev. George H. Berkheimer. Interment in Evergreen cemetery, Gettysburg.Friends may call at the Allison home Sunday evening.
