MR. AND MRS. RONALD FOUTZ40th anniversary marked by Foutz5WESTERNPORT - Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Foutz, Hammond Street, Westernport, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary at the Luke Community Building. The affair was given by Mrs. Pauline McIntyre, sister of Mrs. Foutz, and also the couple’s children.Mrs. Foutz is the daughter of the late Samuel and Ada Bradley of Luke. Mr. Foutz is the son of Quigly and Arlie Foutz of Westernport.Mr. and Mrs. Foutz are the parents of three children, Ronald Foutz, Petersburg; Richard Foutz, Westernport; and Rhonda Mou, Midland, Va. They also have six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter who wasborn on Mrs. Foutz’s birthday.The couple received over 100 cards from friends and relatives. Greetings were received from President and Mrs. Bush and from U.S. Rep. Beverly Byron and State Del. Betty Workman.The Rev. James Mou, son-in-law of the couple, gave theblessing. Mrs. McIntyre and Delores Rounds, Mrs. Foutz’s sisters, helped with the serving. Sisters-in-law, Freda Bradley and Janet Bradley, also assisted. Diane and Ron Dugan,niece and nephew of the couple, videotaped the affair and Delores Weimer also helped to prepare the food. Meghan Mou, granddaughter, registered the guests. Music was provided by Robert Young.The cake was cut by the couple and served by their daughter and Glenna Ileavener. The couple was presented with flowers, a pink and lavender corsage and a pink rose boutonniere. The color scheme was pink and lavender. The tables were decorated with bells, streamers and balloons and the head table was done in pink, white and lavender. The couple was also presented with two love bears.Mr. Foutz presented his wife with a diamond anniversary ring and an anniversary bell with a pearl in the center.
