Luna of Belen announced that he and his family had made the decision within the previous 24 hours that he would be a candidate for lieutenant governor in next June’s Demo primary.Luna was the runningmate of 1986 Demo governor candidate Ray Powell against the team of Garrey Carruthers and Jack Stahl.
