Richfield Pair To Celebrate 50th YearRICHFIELD, Dec. 21—Mr. and Mrs. Roy C. Conner, Richfield, will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary Sunday at the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Cifford Conner, Richfield.The 46-year residents of Richfield were married on Christmas day, 1912, at Greeley, Colo., by the Rev. Joe Thompson, a Methodist minister. Mrs. Conner is the former Laura Ethel Strum.The Conners moved to Filer in 1913, where he farmed two years. And he farmed one year in Eden, before moving to Richfield in 1916, where Conner farmed in north Richfield for seven years. The couple purchased a farm in West Richfield in 1923, which they owned until three years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Conner have resided in town the past 12 years with their farm leased by his son, Robert R. Conner, Fall Brook, Calif., until it was sold to Sid Lazomiz.Six sons of the couple plan to help them celebrate their anniversary. They are Clarence Conner, Meridian; Clifford Conner, Richfield; Donald Conner, Medford, Ore.; Robert Conner, Fall Brook, Calif.; Jack Conner and Max Conner, both Hardin, Mont. Ten grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and nine brothers and sisters and families also are expected.* # #
