PLANSm SCHOOL TO BEI■Bevised bids for construction ofthe new West Central school build-*mg', with the auditorium omitted from specifications, will be eonsid-iered by tho boa^d of education ata special meeting- tonight. BidS'forthe work, including the auditorium, received last night were found to be higher than the available funds would permit, and bidders were instructed to revise their figures, leaving the assembly hallout of the estimates.Approximately $60,000 is available for construction of the building, erection of which will. mark completion of the program provided for by the $75,0,000 bond issue of 192 5. The total of the low bids for general contract, plumb- [ irig and heating and ** electrical 1work was $64,350.A Temporary Omission. Omission of the auditorium from the building will be temporary, it was pointed out, and it can be added when funds become available. The South junior high school building, put in operation this year, also lacks an auditorium and it is planned to construct a combined auditorium-gymnasium therelater. S w ,A definite locationffor the WestCentral building is yet to be selected. The board owns the entireblock, with the exception of one lot, on West. Seventh street where Byers school stood.
