Wheeler Choir Entertains LionsWheeler school choir presented a program of Christmas music at 'Lions club Tuesday noon: Mrs. Ed My rick . is director of the choir, and Grover Sims was in charge oE the pi-ogram.Due to space limitations, Mrs. My rick brought only 24 of the choir members, but she announced that ail 42 will take part in the carol service tonight at the college,Mary Ann Kowland, first grader, was soloist for “Away in a Manger/’ Other numbers performed by the group were Christmas Day in the Morning/7 “Silent Night” and “Merry Texas Christmas.J.. E. Crawford, Grand Prairie, was the guest of Frank Chaney; D. A. Pettit, Dallas, the guest of A. IT. Kinsey, and- Clifton E.j Laird the guest of C. II. Russel 11 jThe board of directors met briefly following the meeting.- .The club will be in recess for the next two weeks because regular meeting elates fall on Christmas and New Year’s Day.
