Observe 5Oth AnniversaryVS SON’S HOMEAnniversary Reception To Honor Anton CoupleANTON (Special) — Mr. and Mrs. Edd Mills will be honored with a reception from 2:30-4:30 p.m. today in the home of their son, Foy Mills, to celebrate their golden wedding anniversary.Co-hosting the event will be the other children of the couple and their families, Messrs. and Mmcs. Edwin Mills of Cimarron, N.M.; Aubort Wright and Alonzo Wright, all of Amarillo; andCoy Mills of Whitharral.The former Miss Effic Howard and Mills were married Dec. 24. 1921, in Childress. They lived in Ashtola in Donley County until 1948, when they moved to Hockley County. Mills farmed near Whitharral until the couple moved to Anton in 1968.Both Mr. and Mrs. Mills are members of ' the Lawrence Ave. Church of Christ.
