Reception Sunday forSavage anniversaryMr. and Mrs. Clifford Savage of 902 N. Ash, above, will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary Sunday. A reception for them will be at the First United Methodist Church. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m.Nina Jenkins and Mr. Savage were married Dec. 23, 1923, at the home of her parents at Frederic which was near Albia. She is a former Ottumwa teacher and he was employed by the Burlington Railroad earlier. Mr. Savage worked at the Post Office for 28 years before retiring in 1965.Mr. and Mrs. Savage have four daughters, Mrs. Charles E. White of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Fred E. Johnson and Mrs. James R. Davis, both of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Kenneth Hillman of Everett, Wash. They have 13 grandchildren, and six greatgrandchildren. Their daughters and husbands and their families will be here for the anniversary.A family dinner will be Saturday night at the Red Lyon Inn.
