Joseph StoyekJoseph L. Stoyek, 51, 123 Evergreen St.. DuBois, died Saturday afternoon at 3:15 p.m. in DuBois Hospital.A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated from St. Michael’s Church Tuesday at 9 a.m. with the Rev. J. Daniel Dymski, celebrant. Interment follows in St. Michael’s Cemetery.Friends are being received at the Paul A. Welton Funeral Home where the Rosary will be recited tonight at 9 p.m.Mr. Stoyek was born in DuBois Nov. 27,1922, the son of George and Veronica Golla Stoyek. He was married to Regina Madison in 1953. She survives.The deceased was a lifelong resident of DuBois, and was employed as a rural mail carrier for the Reynoldsville PostOffice.He was a Veteran of World War II, where he served as an Air Force pilot; member of St. Michael’s Church; Holy Name Society; Pulaski Club; American Legion; and Moose Club.In addition to his wife, Mr. Stoyek is survived by two sons, Perry Stoyek, Hagerstown, Md.; Terry, at home; a daughter, Susan, at home; a brother, Edward Stoyek, Curwensville; and a sister, Mrs. William (Frances) Kovach, Phoenix, Ariz.He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
