Celebrated 86th Birthday.Mrs. Mary Showalter of Freeport, Indiana, celebrated her 86th birthday Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. W. Rigdon, of thiscity, with a family dinner.Those present were her son, George Showalter and wife, of Fair-land; daughter, Mrs. A. B. St. Clair and son, Harold, of Indianapolis, and A. C. Rossow and wife and son, Clarence, of this city. Regrets were received from her three daughters,Mrs. Charles Miller, Mrs. PearlMiller and Mrs. Flora Lewis, of Shelby county, that they were unable to attend on account of the bad weather.She received many beautiful presents.After the dinner was over she presented each of her children with a sealed envelope and upon opening them they found a twenty dollar bill as a token of her love. All departed at a late hour wishing her manymore happy birthdays.
