After which, as thea- company gathered around the family hearth-stone, father Hathaway wa* Kindly remembered by the children, with a beautiful gold-headed canp, gold eye-glasses, and a large arm-j chair, which were presented to him In a few well chosen words, by Rwv. Weatherwax. To mother Hathaway was given a gold thimble, with quite a number of other beautiful and useful presents from children and grandchildren,and a splendid Urge rocker from Mrs. David port and daughter, Mrs. Baird. A pleasant afternoon was then passed, with mudo aud conversation about things loug pant.
