Thomas PevitoHonored AtAppreciation Dinner](WINNIE-STOWELL (Sp) -Thomas N Pevito of Winnie, 1973 Conservation Farmer-of-the-Year, and other contributors to soil, water and land conservation was honored at an appreciation dinner given by Coastal Soil Conservation District at noon Dec. 7 at the Schooner restaurant in Nederland.Don Kelly, executive director of the South East Texas Regional Planning Commission, was guest speaker at the dinner.Pevito was presented a plaque in recognition of his of outstanding work in pasture of and wildlife management W8 on 150 acres of improved an year-round pasture, on which he has also done an drainage work to remove Cr excess water, said G.
