P. t Tuttle of this oity. The pabjeat is allegorical in character and represent* a battle between two Oii Creek bails and four bears* of the rantankeroua low-priced kind. The picture, which is a companion piece to that contributed by the same artiat a year ago, is 82 inches by 54 io size, and the battle between the heaves and bears is growing hot, and symbolics! of the sanguinary strife now raging between the two force? of oil speculators. There are three bulls, but only two are visible. One of these h os bis brain in the ate, and evidently tadly demoralized, while No* 2 has his antagonist in ehmeerj upon the ground. The third bull (that is not visible), is behind the ,41ow-3X creek/’ keeping watch io that direction. A third bear, who baa evident* ly taken a born or two too maty, is seen digging out towards tie rear, while a fourth has received his final,k settlement * sd is converted into 14 spot * meat. The _ jtik ground is filled up with a landscape, in the right of which is seen a derrick and oil tank.
