Club ChatterV« With KAY EWINGDinner Held At Feltz ’The St. Maurice Community Extension Homemakers Club held its Christmas party when the group met for a dinner at Feltz’ Restaurant in Batesville and then went to the home ofMrs. Stanley Krekeler for the meeting.The creed was recited by Mrs. Charles Hellmich. Hie song of the month, “Hark the Herald Angels Sing,” was sung. The birthday song was sung for seven members who have birthdays in December.The committee reported on the Christmas lesson at the Public Service Indiana and the council meeting was reported by RuthIt was announced that there will be a “Sew-knit” lesson Jan. 10,11, and 12. The health and safety thought was read by Mrs. Dennis Meyer. The cultural arts topic concerned Tommie Beatrice Holland, a famous negro of southern Indiana.Mrs. Klink had the project lesson, ‘‘Know Your County.” The mystery box was won by Mrs. Meyer. Contest prizes went to Mrs. Klink and to Mrs. Albert Wallpe. The meeting closed with prayer and secret pal gifts were exchanged. The door prize went to Mrs. Wallpe.The next meeting will be at 7:30 Jan. 6, at the home of Mrs. Ed Wenning, when Mrs. Jean Reed will present the lesson, ‘‘Energyand You.”Klink.
