H rn, Jefferson county supervisor, was elected president of the county highway officials of the fifth engineering district of Iowa for the coming year. Mr. and Mrs. Samuel B Turner celebrate their 63rd wedding anniversary. Funeral services j were held for Mrs. Victor A. Root at Bethesda church.
