Plan to felect Officers at Meeting ThursdayThe third annual Mills County Poultry 5how, which is in session at the Glenwood armory this week, is ithe hest ever held here. The number of entries is very good and the quality of fowls exhibited far exceeds that of previous years. This is not •only the opinion of local poultrymen but of Judge.Glen Richards, who has .judged the previous shows here ae well as this operand who is considered an authority,.Feature of this year's show is the modern poultry house, which has been erected in the armory and which shows proper method of housing fowls, not^alone for their comfort but for the profit of* the owner. The Junior exhibit is a very gratifying feature of this year's show and betokens the continued interest whichr we may expect in the poultry, industry in this county lii the years to come. 1 he officers of the Mills County Poultry Association, especially the president, Mrs, C. J, Dupree and the •ecretary, Mrs. B. E, Combs are to be congratulated on the success of this year’s show and commended for the -efforts they have put forth in making the show the decided success that it is. There are 173 entries, 160 of which are chickens and 13 ducks, •geese or turkeys and 26 entries are by the junior department.
