Next he will stop about one hundred miles west of there, on the Flatte river, with Ids brother Simeon, who is now a farmer, but who was at one lime Professor of Mathematics in the Hartsville college. IIis next stop will be with his brother George, who is farthorwest, and thence home, in the southwestern county of Nebraska. He takes with him three hundred young forest trees of as many kinds as he could find. He says he will have an Indiana forest there. Dave has grown prosperous in the west.
