Mr. and Mrs. Vinson were born at Dillsboro, Indiana, in 1848, and were united in marriage at the same place onDec. 3,1865, by Rev. S. F. McClain. They are the parents of twelve ohildren—five boys and seven girls, all living—the youngest being twenty years old, and all being present with their fancies, as follows: Simeon Vinson^ Marion, Ind.; Mrs. Walter Clarkson, Lovett, Ind.; Mrs. Levi Hamrick, Van Buren, Ind.; Mrs. Frank Wooster, Muncie, Ind.;George Vinson, Dupont, Ind.; Mrs. Ben Hughes, Morse, Kansas;Clark Vinson, Vernon, Ind.; Bessie, Emma, Zada, Charley and Logan. Other guests present were: Mrs. Abigail Wilson, Dillsboro, Ind.; Mrs. Charlotte McBride, Chas. Owings and wife, Versailles; Miss In a Hubbard, Monte C. Fiscus and Dr, Charles Summers, of Indianapolis, Lewis Wilson, wife and niece, of Hyde, James Winsor, wife and son, ofCommiskev. At 12 o'clock thoseK;1 isHJ]wWfsptenithwlt;present witnessed the marriage of their youngest daughter, Zada, to Monte C. Fiscus, of Indianapolis, Rev. Chesley Holmes, of Vernon, officiating. The bridal party came down from Indianapolis that morning and as they neared the house Miss Emma Vinson sang “Home, Sweet Home.” As the bridal couple entered the room, attended bv Miss Ina Hubbard, maid of honor, with Dr. Charles Summers, best man, they were met by the bride and groom of forty years, who stood with them during the ceremony. Shortly after all were invited to the dining room where an elaborate dinner was served. Fred McMillan, the genial photographer of North Vernon, was present during the day and photographed the entire group in a number of ways. At 4 o’cl ock all united in Binging“God be with you ’til we meetagain.” Rev. Holmes led . inprayer. The guest then began todepart, wishing both brides manyhappy returns of the day.
