25th Anniversary-Celebrated FridayI The twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. which occurred Friday, of I Dr. and Mrs. H. M. Hartman, Get-! tysburg, w'as observed Thursday evening by them with a dinner at the Hotel Richard McAllister, Hanover. Plates were laid for 24 persons. Their daughter, Miss Catherine Hartman, and their son, Hen-Ljf *£ -■; . . c »ry M. Hartman, Jr„ and immediate relatives and friends composed the list of dinner guests. Each one of the dinner company wore a pink carnation. The private dining! room of the hotel was decorated in j colors of pink, green and silver. A wedding cake, surmounted by 25 candles, and banked about with ferns, formed the central table decorations.Dr. Hartman, who has practiced medicine at Gettysburg for many j years, is a native of Littles-town. Mrs. Hartman, before her marriage, was Miss Elizabeth Forney, daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Sam-juel Forney, of Hanover.The marriage of Dr. and Mrs. Hartman took place November 29, 1904, at the licme of Mrs. Hart-■ ft’ :man’s parents. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Dr. Barkley, at that time pastor of Trinity Reformed church, Gettysburg.
