Mr. and Mrs. Clair McCorkellObserve 50th anniversaryMr. and Mrs. Clair McCorkell will observe their golden wedding anniversary at the First Baptist Church on Sunday, December lt;S.There will be a program in the church auditorium at 2 p.m. followed by a reception in the cjjurch basement.Clair McCorkell and Mablc Pike were married December 20, 192-1 at the First Congregational church in Sioux City by the Rev. Joseph Steele.Mr. McCorkell served Akron area residents as rural mail carrier for many years until his retirement.Mr. and Mrs. McCorkell have two daughters, Mrs. Pliylis Wilson of Azusa, Calif, and Mrs. Gladys Clarey of Covina, Calif. One‘son, Kdward, is deceased. They have 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
